After I had purchased BodyBoss, I decided to buy a planner dedicated to charting my workouts and my progress (and because it’s really, REALLY easy for me to talk myself into buying a planner). I opted for the Day Designer for Blue Sky Monthly/Weekly, and if you’re into planner reviews, I’ve got one for you after the break!
I have been working out inconsistently for a pretty long while. And I’ve tried a sh-t-ton of programs – P90X, Zumba, POP Pilates, the Nerd Fitness bodyweight workout. I even tried designing my own workouts, based on 30-day challenges found all over Pinterest. But I’ve never stuck to one single thing.
So I just shelled out my own money for the BodyBoss fitness guide.
May Whole30 is already off to a terrible start.
In my last post, I shared my experience with Whole30. It was a challenge, and I definitely did not enjoy every moment, but at the end of the 30 days, I felt pretty darn good.
And then I completely fell back onto my old eating habits.
I did my first Whole30 in January – and it was not easy. I was cooking every single day, I had to really challenge not just what I ate, but how and why, and I gave up some of my absolute favorite foods for 30 days. And starting May 1st, I’m doing it again.
Following up on my morning routine post, I thought I’d share with you how I unwind in the evenings!
After 30 years of vehemently swearing that I am not a morning person, I purposefully set my alarm clock for 30 minutes earlier than I truly need to wake up – and I’m even thinking about increasing that to an hour.
Something about turning 30 made me reassess how and why I was living my life.
